Hornell Facilities

In December, 2001 TTA established a larger manufacturing facility to expand our capacity and to allow us to grow our system and components business. We completely gutted and redesigned the existing structure to maximize our productivity and effectiveness.

TTA’s facility in Hornell, NY includes 130,000 square feet of production space. Both of TTA’s New York facilities are located in the heartland of railcar manufacture and overhaul in the USA. The facilities are equipped with modern equipment and tooling to ensure we maintain our long history of outstanding performance. Our goal is the completion of all projects on time and within budget while providing superior quality.

This facility has been expanded in early 2004 to provide a 16,000 sq. ft. ultra modern fully equipped Truck Assembly and Overhaul shop.

In our systems and components business our capacity is 60-80 carsets of systems per month. Additional capacity is available at both facilities as we have land available for facility expansion when needed.
